TalkTalk is in the process of removing its talk240 tariff, which will soon be unavailable for new customers. If you currently pay for your phone calls on this tariff your call charges will remain unaffected. However if you were thinking of switching to this tariff, then get in quickly as it will no longer be available after the end of March; check the uSwitch.com calculator for other options.
These are:
Direct: Low rates (per minute) at all times, with no monthly cost.
UK HomeTime: Unlimited free calls to UK landlines at evenings and weekends, for a fixed charge of £4.99 a month.
UK AnyTime: Unlimited free calls to UK landlines at all times of day, for £13.99 a month.
New customers signing up for Telco Select or Telco Select + Together are receiving free local weekend calls as a sign-up incentive. Telco has also changed its charging periods from every 6 seconds to every minute. This doesn’t apply if you’re a JustDial customer.
